across the borders festival starts

our city of aachen started its across the borders festival today at 14h on katschhof square in the middle of aachen's historic city center.
designmetropole aachen will contribute a designers zoo in 2011, and did a little marketing stunt to promote it.

i beta festival heerlen

heerlen NL is the first dutch city to be shrinking. the city of heerlen, the zachte g network and the great gang of driezesnul organized the WOW!- i_beta-festival about all of us being in beta mode. great keynote speakers, great workshops. me, patricia and sascha also did one on design business experiences.
fruitful discussions with designers, city planners and cultural managers.

got invited by chequita nahar & anne kuban to show my designs in their great super D discount store project.
a great exclusive shopping experience in an unusual environment. wow.
will be repeated regularly. was a great success.

license agreement workshop at gut rosenberg

the aachen chamber of handicraft invited me and patricia of PYG to conduct a workshop on license agreement negotiations for their designers in handicraft master students at their gut rosenberg academy. great and heated discussions.

our 1st press conference

Vojislav Miljanovic put in some of his PR strength, Patricia and me played press officers, we all put up a great expo, Irit Tirtey had provided us with the Kurhaus' awesome Ballsaal, Sascha and Andrea and Jürgen served great little canapés and drinks, lots of newspaper and TV interviews.
