Redesign Aachen Fraktion did an awesome job kidnapping the flags of aachen's world class LudwigForum museum for international modern art and replacing them with IKEA flags.

Last night I was invited to participate in this cool networking event. Invitees are asked to present themselves with one piece, hence the name. I showed my SUICIDE BRACELET. Open to the interested public. A great evening. We decided to bring the event to Aachen soon!

IT WORKS. Our second event to connect creatives with industrialists, researchers, politicians and people from public administration was a great success.

BLICKFANG vienna is coming up

BLICKFANG is the established name for design shopping bliss. this time again in vienna at MAK. This is THE oportunity to buy directly from the designer.

Also there with me: PYG, Sascha Bogner, SCHARP INC. Clara Scharping, KONSTRUKTORDESIGN by Til Hennen and 1stern-design.

walking westwall

12 of us plus designer and artist friends from belgium, rumania and the netherland did an art performance as part of the city of Aachen's across the borders festival. The Walking Siegfried Line. Luckily overcome in minutes by the Allies, the Westwall is one of the most obscure WW II borders. It's a very visual and physical barrier, but on foot you can walk through it without hesitation. We'll make it block the city's shopping streets. It's all about barriers in our heads.

blind date - an event concept for matching people

Lately me and Patricia of designmetropole aachen have been busy developing a concept for Gründerzentrum Kulturwirtschaft: A series of events to match creatives with industrials, researchers and public authorities.
In pitch dark.
No status symbols, no powerplay gestures. Just your voice. Direct. Personal. And listen well!
We believe in sympathetic interpersonal contacts. They last longer and are more profound than pure target oriented biz meets.

Tonight's the night for blind date #1. Here's a first impression:

PECHA KUCHA Maastricht visits Aachen

Patricia Graf and me of designmetropole aachen are organizing the first PechaKucha Night ever here in Aachen. Together with PechaKucha Maastricht and Wirtschaftsförderung Aachen.
