Redesign Aachen Fraktion did an awesome job kidnapping the flags of aachen's world class LudwigForum museum for international modern art and replacing them with IKEA flags.

12 of us plus designer and artist friends from belgium, rumania and the netherland did an art performance as part of the city of Aachen's across the borders festival. The Walking Siegfried Line. Luckily overcome in minutes by the Allies, the Westwall is one of the most obscure WW II borders. It's a very visual and physical barrier, but on foot you can walk through it without hesitation. We'll make it block the city's shopping streets. It's all about barriers in our heads.

Vojislav Miljanovic put in some of his PR strength, Patricia and me played press officers, we all put up a great expo, Irit Tirtey had provided us with the Kurhaus' awesome Ballsaal, Sascha and Andrea and Jürgen served great little canapés and drinks, lots of newspaper and TV interviews. DESIGN ACT MOSCOW 2009 was a success.
What we didn't know: PYG and me were the first german designers ever to participate !
TimeOut Moscow announced our workshop "What to consider in my license agreement" (see 4th pic). It seems it was a great success. One comment: "These were the most useful 2 hours in the last 6 years including my studies at the design academy."

Also I am now working with LimitedUnlimited to market my stuff in Russia. LimitedUnlimited's Ksenia and Masha also did a great job as curators of DESIGN ACT (see Ksenia in 2nd pic).
